Yes, you got that right. Women do have some advantages at the poker table. You have to watch out for women at the poker table because they have some extra moves that can take any man out of his poker game. If you are a woman then you should use these skills to your advantage. If you are a man then you should watch out when these skills are used against you. You do not know when these magic skills will get you off guard and you do not know when these skills will be used. Always be on the lookout if you are a guy. Always be ready if you are a girl.
One of the main advantages of women at the poker table is their beauty. They can always use this to their advantage. When women are beautiful, a lot of guys will try to flirt with them. Some guys will call hands that they would not normally call so that they can get some sort of interaction with a pretty girl. For example, if the girl is at the turn card and the guy still has nothing, he may still call it because he wants to interact with the girl. Girls can use this to their advantage. If girls are pretty, they can easily take any guy out of his poker game.
Another advantage of women at the poker table is their patience. Normally, guys are overly aggressive and competitive. Women are naturally more patient and nurturing. Although a caveat, there are still women out there that are aggressive! You know what I mean! Anyway, normally, a woman is more patient. Even is she gets beaten on a hand, she will still be able to hold back and play the next hand normally. Males will naturally tend to become aggressive and try to beat out someone else even if they do not have such a strong hand. Women are rarely going to use intimidation or aggressiveness to win a hand.
An advantage of women at the poker table is their ability to look harmless. There are some males out there that will be overly nice to females especially when they have a nice hand. They will tell the female to back off because they have the cards. Some men think that women are harmless and they do not want to hurt women’s feelings at the poker table. They will honestly tell the girl to fold instead of allowing the girl to lose her money. Yes, there are nice guys out there that fall for this sweetie pie girl aura.
If you are a male and you are competing with females then you should be aware of what women can do at the poker table. If you are a female and you are competing with males then you should know when to use these super powers to your favor. If you can use these super powers then there is a high chance that you will win a poker tournament. If you are a guy then you should watch out or else you will get beaten at the poker table.
The gambler’s addiction

If you are a gambler then you may be addicted to something else that is more profound than gambling. Why do you gamble anyway? Try to find the reasons why you gamble away one month or even two months of your salary in a casino. Yes, it is absurd but for those gambling addicts out there, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. You have actually maxed out the ATM machine and loaded your wallet with cash. Later on that day, you go home with nothing. Why did you do that? Why did you gamble away all your hard earned money? Okay, there may be an explanation to this and this is the more profound addiction.
One of the more profound addictions behind gambling is the addiction to hope. Some people hope too much. Some people hope that they will buy a Ferrari next year. Some people think that they will buy a mansion in Beverly Hills next year. Some people think that they will marry one of the hottest men or women on earth. But at the end of the day, what does this hope do to you? There is such a thing called false hope and it is not pretty. Okay fine, you may think that it is okay to dream and all but at the end of the day you have to come to terms with reality, right? If you are using gambling so that you can get a one way ticket into the luxuries that you have always hoped for then you should not hope too much. I am going to tell you now, this hope is dangerous. There is no other way to get these luxuries than by sheer hard work. It is not an easy way to luxury. Do not think that gambling will get you these riches. The odds are against you.
Another more profound addiction behind gambling is the addiction to excitement. Some people love the thrill. Some people enjoy the ride. Some people love the rush they get when they gamble thousands of dollars on poker. If you are addicted to the rush in gambling then you are a thrill addict. If you have no other way to thrill yourself than by gambling away thousands of your hard earned dollars then you might want to think your gambling vice all over again. It is not funny to lose thousands of dollars on poker. If you want to be sane then you should put your addiction in check and try to find the best way to find a thrill. Maybe you should go hang gliding or sky diving. Maybe you should go skiing or scuba diving. Whatever controls money pouring out of your pocket is certainly better than losing thousands and thousand of dollars on poker.
In gambling, you have to be smart. You have to know yourself. You have to know when to stop and when to bet again. If you do not know yourself and if you do not keep your addictions in check then you certainly have a big problem to solve. Hi I am blank and I am a gambling addict. Applause!
Two layered bluff

What makes poker really exciting is bluffing. You can actually take home an entire pot by bluffing your way to it. In poker, you do not need to have good cards to win. Sometimes, the bluffing skill can take you a long way. If you are able to make a two layered bluff then you are even better. What is a two layered bluff anyway?
A two layered bluff is that you are bluffing that you are bluffing which means that you really have something. You should be able to make your opponents think that you do not have anything. You should be able to reel in your opponents. What is an example of a two layered bluff?
Let us say that you have a seven and a ten that are suited. The flop comes out and then here comes a six, an eight, and a nine, all suited with yours. You have a royal flush already. Your opponents may have something like a pair but you already have the highest five card combination possible. Now, you have to pretend that you do not have anything. Act like a bluffer and pretend that you really have the royal flush. You see, there is a difference in acting like you have the royal flush and acting like you are pretending to have a royal flush. You should be doing the latter. You can give away some tell signs. You can pretend to look away. You can pretend to swallow and do all sorts of fake telling but you should not be obvious. You are an actor in this show and you have the lead role. If you do not get the Oscar Award then you are going to end up broke and kicked out of the table. You have to put on a great show if you want to pull off the two layered bluff.
Now you are in the groove. You have your opponents thinking that you are bluffing. They keep on betting and betting and they are trying to catch you. When the last card comes out, you might want to go all in and pretend that this is your final bluff. If your opponents buy this act of yours then you can easily take out everyone on the poker table. You see, the two layered bluff is the most lethal and most deadly weapon in poker. It is like double crossing someone in real life. If you have been double crossed then you know how being double crossed feels. You are not a fool, are you? As some basketball players would say. If you think that you are getting a one up on someone then you better think again. These people may be the pros at the two layered bluff. You may think that you are gaining on them but at the end of the day, you are the fool. Sometimes you have to stop laughing because the joke is on you already. Do not be a fool. Be smart and aware.
